so close but so uncomfortable.

What is a good nights rest?  I have no clue anymore!  When you become a mother your sleep is never the same prior to kids.  You wake to any little noise in the house, for the need of one of your children or anything since you always feel that need of being on call.  But recently my body doesn't think it doesn't need sleep at all.  I will get in 2 hrs and then up for an hr and then repeat the rest of the night.  However last night reached a new low.  I think I only got 3hrs of sleep and was up wide a wake at 5am with Tim.  I guess my body is getting ready for the sleepless night that are to come any day from now on to +- June 7, but don't I need to be a little rested for the hard work my body is going to do during labor?  I think that will be one of my questions for Dr Madden tomorrow for my 37 1/2 wk pregnancy.

We are all really excited to meet her and the last two mornings the boys keep asking, "Can she come today".  I love it!  William still refers to her as either chubby cheeks or lady bug girl.  Will also can't leave my belly button a lone, hugging my tummy and making sure he kisses his sister every night before bed.  Jack will call her Lauren one week and then the next week flip to Caroline.  He also gave me instructions on how to dress his sister for when she comes home, so needless to say we have two outfits packed for her.  Oh, and yes I am finally packed as of two nights ago.  I kept putting that off in hopes maybe that would bring on labor...no luck!  LOL!  Spicy food isn't helping either and all the other things...She has her own plans!

Also happening in our home...sick kids!  Which I need them healthy before we bring a new born home.  Jack has been fighting a rash most the spring and we are thinking now it is an allergy.  He had really bad pink eye in both eyes about two weeks ago and last Thursday was put on medication for bronchitis.  William came down with pink eye yesterday and I was put on medication for an upper respiratory infections.  I'm not sure Will is starting to get that too.  On the up side Tim has been able to escape all this so far and for most of the pregnancy we have had a really healthy one for all of us.  So I just keep reminding myself of that and how God kept answering my prayers to keep us healthy.

Well if anything big happens we'll let you know but for now we will be enjoying pool time at Knollwood Country Club starting this Friday.  The boys finish school on Thursday!
