Memorial Weekend 2013

Lots of rain in the weather, but lots of sunshine in our hearts!

Memorial weekend my sister and her family came to visit Sunday and Monday.  Sunday evening was beautiful and the weather was the best that evening.  What do you do when the sun is setting and it is nice out...GO FOR A SUNSET BOAT RIDE!

Nico and nurse Jamie even came to town and got to enjoy a boat ride with all of us.  It was wonderful to have him here!  It has been a long time since Nico has been on a boat ride and up to visit.  We were very thankful!

Bedroom Projects

Ever since we moved back to Indiana when the boys were 2 and 4 years old they had always had their own bedrooms, but didn't use them.  We would always find the boys bunking up together or asking us if they could sleep in the same room, so when we moved to the lake full time there wasn't two rooms for each of them...  they had to share a room and didn't mind at all.

Their room for that last two years.

Now at ages 8 and 10 they are wanting a little bit more space, which started our next remodel project in our home over Christmas break. We had to rip out a closet and add 2 in a new location, make the one room into a two bed room, and make a hallway to the bathroom.

Will's brand NEW room!

Jack's brand NEW room!

All that is left is to put away their closets.
They are being finished today and it couldn't be sooner...

The bathroom has been the closet for the last four weeks.  When the project was started there was some organization, but the boys gave up on that!  I don't know who's things are who's at this point.  YICKS!
